[Interesting Days] OPEN

[Rose Mara]

Black hair lay draped over covered shoulders. Green eyes peered out from behind the dark bangs of a young girl. She walked quickly, hands in her pockets as she did so. It was an overcast and rainy day, but she still wore her trench coat. She smiled to herself as she watched people scurry to get to the dry insides of the school.

This young girl, was Rosette Mara. And she, quite frankly, loved the rain and the damp weather. She enjoyed the sunless days. But, then again, she had her own reasons for that. Her boots sloshed in the puddles as she walked to the front of the building. Her schedule was awaiting her. She had registered only last night. It was time to get an education. Or, in the very least, pretend like she was.

She had her black hoodie slung over her head, and because of the rain it had started to cling to her body. Now that she was inside the building she pulled off the soaked outer garment to reveal her long sleeve plum coloured top. Her long violet hair had also suffered from the rain and now stuck to her face. She ruffled a hand through it effortlessly before turning to see the other students shaken from cold.

And with the new arrivals she saw her. The young black haired girl who had entered from the cold, but seemed unphased by it, perhaps even enjoying it. She tell from the gush that had blown past her from the open door, that she was a little different from the other students. Like herself. She smiled softly at her might as well introduction myself, it be nice to have another vamp in the school She walked back along the corridors with her hoodie tucked under her arm to greet the new girl.

[Rose Mara]

Rose tossed her black hair out of her face and looked around. She left her soaking trench coat on. She wasn't sure if she should take it off just yet. It would give her an excuse for being so cold. Rose sighed and looked around before her eyes fell on Evey. She didn't know the girl but she looked a little less than normal. Hm. Interesting... She's not...No she couldn't be... Rose reached her conclusion as she watched the girls ever so careful footsteps. She was too graceful to be human.

She couldn't help but smile slightly to herself. So she wasn't completely alone here. But now she had to wonder if the girl was friendly or not. She looked friendly enough, though, people seemed to move out of the way as she walked. Hrm. This would certainly be interesting enough. Rose prayed the girl was nice. She didn't know if she could deal with someone being rude today.

ic: Evey walked slowly down the corridor, as not tothreaten the new vampire. She kept and warm expression on hr face as she reached her. Now closer Evey could she that she was a pretty girl ad was a veggie vamp due to her vivd green eyes. She stopped a couple of paces away from her " Hello, I'm Evey" She smiled widely at her, " your new here i guess, would you like some help getting sorted?" She took another step closer her smile still warm, she hoped, " its not that big a school, so it wont take too long to get use to"

[Rose Mara]

Rose smiled back at the girl as she approached her. "Hey Evey. I'm Rosette. My friends call me Rose though." She pushed her dark bangs out of her eyes to get a better look at Evey. She was pretty. The vivid pink eyes contrasted the hair perfectly. She was sure now that this girl was a vampire. "Yeah. I just registered yesterday." Rose slid her hands into her pockets, still a bit wary of the cold feeling she herself gave off. "And I would love that. If you would be so kind."

Evey flashed Rose a wide grin " Rosette, that's a lovely name" She looked round the corridor again and saw the room that they would have to go to to get Rose's time table " Well its looks like you haven't got your schedule, so we better go to the registration office" She pointed to the door way as she talked, before starting up the corridor. She could still hear the patter of rain on the roof above " Perfect weather isn't??" She called to Rose, laughijng slightly.

"Thank you. My mother picked it out." Her small smile seemed to falter at the thought of her mother. She pulled it together though and nodded. "I was just on my way." Rose followed Evey to the registration office. She glanced around once more, studying people. She was in a slight awe due to the fact that she wasn't alone. Rose had been alone for quite sometime. It was amazing that she held her people skills together after so long. Rose smiled and laughed quietly. "I love the rain, actually. So I would have to say its beautiful out today."

[Alice]

" I argee with you, but i do miss being able to get a tan!, but they say white is the new brown" She laughed entering the registration office. It was a small room with its plain wallpaper, a couple of chairs and a single desk found near the back. Evey walked up to the receptionist, a middle aged women with curly blonde hair, she was busy with paper work when Evey walked up to the desk. She leant over the desk " Hello miss, i have a new student here, who needs her time table" She turned to beckon Rose over to her " Her name's Rosette"

Rose laughed. "Ah. Who needs a tan anyways?" She smiled and followed Evey into the Registration Office. Rose looked around the room as she stepped in with Evey. She noticed how plain it was and almost shuddered at the decorating skills. Ugh. Maybe they decorate later on in the year. Hm. She turned her head and smiled, coming forward when Evey beckoned her to. She waved slightly at the woman behind the counter. "Hello"

Evey returned Rose's smile, before turning back to the Receptionist, who she saw took one look at Rose and as now flicking through files of names. She peered over slightly just to check. " Lets hope we've got some classes together Rose, it'll make life as a guide a little easier, won't it?" She turned back to see that the receptionist had found the right piece of paper and had placed it on the desk in front of her. Evey picked it up " Thank you miss" She smiled at her, then turned to Rose and handed her the time table, " Now we can see if you've got a easy year or one with hellish timing, like P.E all day, even though that's impossible, and any way" Evey lent in to whisper so that the the receptionist would not hear " I never stick around for P.E anyway, better things to do."

Rose watched the receptionist carefully. It was in her nature to be a bit paranoid of people. Even when they weren't doing anything wrong. That's just the way she was. She slipped her hands into her trench coat pockets and nodded at Evey. "I suppose it would." She smiled gently and looked around the room once more with critical eyes. Maybe she would suggest some color later on in the year. Rose snapped back to reality when Evey began to speak again. Rose took her schedule and looked it over. She knew most of the classes. She'd taken them before. She laughed slightly when Evey confessed she skipped out on P.E. "I truly do not blame you."

Evey laughed along with Rose, she took a peek out of the window to see that the clouds were still dark and now the rain had began to fall even heavier bouncing of the pavement. She quickly looked at the white plastic clock that hung on the wall just over Rose's head. 5 minutes till class " Well class starts soon so we better get going" She paused smiling at Rose " I've got English 1st in room 3, what about you?" She walked towards the window to see the last remaining students hurrying from the cars, " perfect weather to discuss Macbeth, gets you in the mood for death, murder and all things bloodshed!"
